Description
The Command and Control Programme (C2P) aims to transform HM Coastguard's command and control capability with a modern, secure and fully integrated operational system. Given the scale, complexity and operational criticality of this investment, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency has procured specialist external legal support to provide robust compliance, assurance and risk mitigation across the commercial lifecycle. The programme requires sustained expert legal advice spanning procurement strategy, contracting and commercial terms, data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property, regulatory compliance and independent legal assurance. This requirement was procured through Further Competition under the Government Commercial Agency framework Legal Panel for Government (RM6360), Lot 1.
