Claiming is by invitation for now. An invitation is a code that names one person or one organization. If you have one, the claim desk is where you use it.

How it works

Find yourself
Search this page for your name. You see what we already hold about you, and whether a page has been claimed under it.

Prove who you are
At the claim desk you enter your invitation code. An organization also proves that it controls its domain, with one DNS record. Nothing is gathered or shown about you before that.

Review what was found
We gather what registry documents and the open web say about you, each fact with its source. You confirm what is right and dispute what is wrong. You can add statements of your own, and they are shown as yours.

Publish
You pick an address from a short list and publish the page. People read it, search engines read its structured data, and assistants read it through the record lookup.
Three grades, never mixed
A grade says where a fact came from. Each grade has its own section and its own count, and nothing you do moves a fact from one grade to another.

From a registry document
Read from a document that a registry published. You can dispute it. Nobody can edit it or remove it, and a disputed fact stays on the page, marked as disputed.

From the open web
Published on the open web by at least two independent sources, each of which we read ourselves. If a reported fact is not about you, you can say so and it leaves your page.

Stated by the subject
Your own statement. It is shown as stated by you, it becomes visible 72 hours after you add it, and it never reads as a confirmation by anyone else.
What we never hold
- Nothing about health.
- No criminal record.
- No date of birth and no age.
- No home address, and nothing about family, religion, politics, sexuality or finances.
- Adults only. A claim starts with your statement that you are an adult.
