Corrections
Three ways to correct what a page says, and one rule that holds across all three: the record as a register published it is never edited or removed.
Claim
A person or an organization proves who they are at the claim desk, with an invitation code or an identity check. They review the facts gathered under their name, confirm what is right, dispute what is wrong, and may add their own statement. Nothing is public until they publish.
What happens: a published page carries three kinds of fact apart from one another, by where each one came from. A statement the subject adds is shown as theirs, never as a confirmation by anyone else.
Flag
Anyone can use the report form on a claimed page to say the page is wrong: that it is about someone else, or that one of its facts is false.
What happens: a person reads every report by hand. Nothing on the page changes until they have, and the page says so.
Dispute
A property parcel carries its own jurisdiction's dispute rail: an adjudicator, a window to file, an evidence rule and a fee, each named on the parcel's own page, set by that jurisdiction and not by Pansofica.
What happens: the dispute runs through that jurisdiction's own process. Pansofica is not the adjudicator of it.
What is never changed
- A fact read from a registry document is never edited or removed. A dispute of it stays attached to the fact, marked as disputed, beside the document it came from.
- A correction is a new fact, or a new status, set beside the one it corrects. The original stays on the record, with its own date.
